With the lack of an equivalent in SQL2005 or SQL 2008 for the SQL Server Service Manager that comes with SQL2000, I've decided to write one myself. It's behaviour should be familiar to you if you've used SQL2000. If you have suggestions or want to report a bug email smbugs or you can use the feedback mechanisms on the associated SQL 2005 Service Manager Codeplex site where the full source code is also available.
